The joints are specifically designed not to give pressure or push against the palate, making Emil an extremely comfortable bit. The mouthpiece adapts naturally to the shape of the tongue and relieves pressure on the layers. Emil is the perfect solution for sensitive horses that easily get wounds in the mouth.

At Fager, we always design our bits to sit horizontally straight, without a greater forward bend. We do this to ensure that the bit maintains the correct balance point (BP) in the mouth, providing stability and clear communication with the horse. When a bit causes greater forward flexion, the BP also shifts forward, adversely affecting the effectiveness of the aids.
